Flex Scheduling Option

 

Students in grade 12 may enroll in fewer than six classes in a semester as part of a Flex Scheduling Program.  Interested students must meet with their guidance counselor to determine eligibility. 

An eligible student who participates in the Flex Scheduling Program must:

A.     Attend at least three (3) hours of instructional time per school day

B.     Pursue a timely graduation

C.    Provide evidence of college or technical career education enrollment and attendance, or  proof of employment that is aligned with the student’s career academic sequence under the rules established by the Indiana Bureau of Child Labor

D.    Not be suspended nor expelled while participating in the Flex Program

E.      Pursue course and credit requirements for a diploma (40 credits minimum)

F.  Maintain a ninety-five (95) percent attendance rate
